Buffett was one of several high-profile executives, along with ValueAct Capital Management founder Jeffrey Ubben, to release a set of corporate governance principles this week.

Jagdeep Singh Bachher, CIO for the University of California regents, in a New York Times report that Bridgewater Associates is slowing down on hiring. Bachher noted that concerns about the future direction of the investment firm’s leadership were part of the reason the endowment redeemed from Bridgewater.
